Things I like to do (or want to do) around Dallas!
Regular activities
Trivia
My favorites include: Harwood Arms (Tuesdays 7-9pm, can win free drinks and gift cards), Community Beer Co (Wednesdays 7-9pm), Halycon (Saturdays 8:30pm-10:30pm)
Mini Golf/ Top Golf
Some of my favorite spots are Another Round, Puttshack, Puttery, Pop Stroke, but IMO the best deal is at Top Golf Dallas, where it’s unlimited mini golf for $9, and Mon-Thurs the driving range is also 1/2 off.
Barcades
Cidercade ($12) is an oldie but a goodie, with lots of old timey and new games, Dave and Busters (variable) is great especially if you go later at night the drinks are ridiculously cheap and they have half price games on Wednesday, Barcadia (variable) is not my favorite bc it doesn’t have a lot of options
Bowling
Bowlounge is my go to spot with 1/2 off bowling on Tuesdays, other good options for adults are Pinstack, Punch Bowl Social, Bowl and Barrel, and honorable mention out to football bowling with Bowl Games
Art Classes
Dallas Maker Space (everything + cheapest imo), Trade Oak Cliff (lots of dif kinds of classes), Pottery for the People, Quiggly’s Clay House (cheapest pottery class), Dallas Creative Arts Center, Twisted Clay (I did pottery bootcamp here!), Painting with a Twist, Malibu Apothecary (candle making)
Comedy Shows
Dallas Comedy Club Saturday Night Prime Time Improv will never disappoint (but I just love DCC in general!), there are lots of comedy spots in Dallas but I have only ever been to DCC, other options include Hyena’s, Mic Drop Comedy, Stomping Ground
Dance Classes
Cowboy Red River does free two-stepping classes almost every night before the bar officially opens (and you also get free cover if you attend), Vidorra does free salsa classes on Wednesday evenings
